  • Paper  on ribozyme from our group is the cover page on Chembiochem, 2006, 7 (6) .

  • Gayatri was awarded the highly-competitive Cancer Biology NRSA fellowship, congratulations!

  • NCI Funds $20 M Stanford Nanotech Center, March 1, 2006.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) announced that it has allotted roughly $20 million over five years to the Stanford Center of Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence (CCNE). The Stanford CCNE will be one of eight NCI Centers of Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence which are research alliances of cancer centers, medical institutions, schools of engineering and physical sciences, nonprofit organizations and private corporations. Their mission is to integrate nanotechnology into cancer research. We are one of the participating labs at Stanford CCNE.

QD-BRET paper from our group has been highlighted in Nature, Nature Methods, and NCI website

  • Congratulations to Min and Gayatri on their 2006 AMI Travel Scholarship awards!
  • Positions opening for both students and postdoctoral fellows.

Chemists and biologists who are strongly motivated to chemical biology and molecular imaging researches are welcome to apply. Please send your inquiries to Dr.  Rao at jrao@stanford.edu.
